How to solve a Rubik's cube 6x6 - Step 7
Step 7.
At the end of the stage, you must have assembled all the layers except the top one and a cross on the top layer.
At the beginning of this stage, the cubes of the top cross must be in your place, at the same time, their colors can be inverted. You may have one of the following pictures. Either all the edges of the top cross are not rotated correctly, or
a)
2 adjacent pairs of ribs are not rotated correctly,
b)
2 adjacent pairs of ribs are not rotated correctly.
Here everything is similar to step 5 assembly algorithm of the 3x3 cube It is necessary to do the algorithm 2 times, and between them to turn the top edge by the required number of turns
c)
either one pair is rotated incorrectly. This situation is called parity and it is not possible in a 3x3 cube
If you have 3 pairs of edges rotated incorrectly, just do both algorithms (for one pair + for two pairs = algorithm for three pairs)
