At the end of the stage, you should have assembled all the layers except the top one and a cross on the top layer.

At the beginning of this stage, the cubes of the top cross must be in their place, and their colors can be inverted. You can have one of the following pictures. Either all the ribs of the top cross are not rotated correctly, or

a) 2 neighboring ribs are not turned correctly,

b) or 2 opposite ribs are not rotated correctly.

Here everything is similar to step 5 assembly algorithm of the 3x3 cube You need to do the algorithm 2 times, and turn the upper edge between them by the desired number of revolutions
